Evan Ellingson Cause Of Death
The Sheriff-Coroner in San Bernardino County has concluded that former child star Evan Ellingson passed away due to an accidental overdose of fentanyl. An autopsy was conducted on November 6, following Ellingson’s discovery dead at his Fontana residence the previous day. The official cause of his death, as indicated on the coroner’s website, is labeled as an “accident.”
Ellingson was best known for his lead role in the 2009 film My Sister’s Keeper and also for his work on CSI: Miami. He was 35.

In the movie “My Sister’s Keeper,” directed by Nick Cassavetes, Ellingson portrayed the son of Cameron Diaz and Jason Patric and the brother of Abigail Breslin. This film, adapted from Jodi Picoult’s 2004 novel, also featured Sofia Vassilieva and Alec Baldwin.
He started his career with appearances on Mad TV, then became a regular on the Fox sitcom Titus in 2002. In 2004, he took on the role of Kyle Savage, the son of single dad Keith Carradine, in the ABC sitcom Complete Savages. Additionally, he played important roles such as Josh Bauer, Kiefer Sutherland’s nephew in 24, and Kyle Harmon, David Caruso’s son in Seasons 6, 7, and 8 of CSI: Miami.
His film work included Clint Eastwood‘s Letters from Iwo Jima.
