In October, WhatsApp introduced a feature that enables users to utilize two accounts on a single phone. Presently, this functionality is accessible to nearly all users.
In the past, people could only have one WhatsApp account on a single phone for the messaging app owned by Meta. However, now it’s doable to have two WhatsApp accounts on one phone. This is particularly useful for those who use WhatsApp for business because, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, they can keep their work and personal accounts separate.

To use this feature, it’s necessary to have Dual SIM support on the phone so that 2 different numbers can be used for 2 WhatsApp accounts.
To use this function on your Android device, go to the settings in WhatsApp and tap the arrow next to your name. Choose ‘Add Account’ and input your second phone number, then click ‘Next’. You will receive a 6-digit code via text message; enter the code and provide your profile name, and finally, pick a profile picture.
In simpler terms, you can follow the same steps to create a second account this way. This method also applies to iPhones, but remember, it only works on phones that have Dual SIM support.
Some iPhones allow you to use two SIM cards at the same time, but not all of them.
