The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted scattered rains for Karachi and various parts of Sindh on Monday night and Tuesday.
This weather pattern is due to a westerly wave affecting upper and central regions of Pakistan, expected to persist until Tuesday.
In light of this, most districts in the province can expect partly cloudy conditions on Monday night. However, there’s a likelihood of rain, accompanied by wind and thunderstorms, in areas including Kashmore, Sukkur, Khairpur, Jacobabad, Dadu, Ghotki, Nawabshah, Sanghar, Hyderabad, Karachi, and Larkana.
Moving into Tuesday, similar conditions are expected in Kashmore, Sukkur, Dadu, Ghotki, Sanghar, Hyderabad, Karachi, Mirpurkhas, and Umer Kot.
In Karachi, the maximum temperature is projected to range between 32-34 degrees Celsius on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Meanwhile, Hyderabad is anticipated to experience temperatures between 34-36 C on Tuesday and 33-35 C on Wednesday.
During the past 24 hours, Sindh experienced predominantly dry weather. Nawabshah and Mithi reported the highest temperatures, reaching as high as 38 C. In Karachi, the maximum temperature recorded was 33 C, with relative humidity at 68 percent in the evening.
