The National Highway Motorway Police (NHMP) has introduced a new CE category driving license, which allows individuals to operate trailers.
This is expected to create fresh employment prospects, especially in countries like Canada, where there is a significant demand for drivers with a CE category license.
During an official ceremony, the Caretaker Federal Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Shahid Ashraf Tarar, marked the launch of this CE category license. He expressed confidence that it would generate more job opportunities for the youth.
How Many CE Category License Will be issued?
IG Motorway Police Sultan Ali Khawaja said the department is committed to issuing 3,000 to 5,000 CE category driving licenses by next year. He said transparency will be ensure in the examination process.

The CE category driving license is currently being issued from the HTV Test Center Sangjani, Islamabad.
