False information concerning the passing of the renowned singer Attaullah Khan Essakhelvi has been circulating on social media platforms. The spokesperson for the singer has vehemently denied these rumors, assuring the public that Attaullah Khan is in good health and has made a full recovery. The spokesperson also expressed the hope that those responsible for spreading such negative news would be guided towards more constructive paths.
This isn’t the first time that such unfounded reports about Attaullah Khan’s well-being have surfaced. The spokesperson clarified that the singer is currently in London, adding that similar rumors had circulated in the past. In April 2020, there was a surge of false news regarding Attaullah Khan’s alleged demise, prompting the star to release a video to confirm his continued existence. These rumors resurfaced three months later.
At one point, even the Wikipedia page for Attaullah Khan had momentarily indicated his passing on July 7, causing many to believe the misinformation. However, his son, Sanwal Essakhelvi, swiftly confirmed that his father was perfectly healthy. He emphasized that these false reports had become a recurring issue over the past year.
Attaullah Khan Essakhelvi himself addressed the situation in a video message after the fake news began to spread widely. In the video, he assured his well-wishers, saying, “I am fine; I hope all of you also in good spirits.” In his earlier video from April 2020, Attaullah Khan had explained, “I’m perfectly fine, as you can see. I was hospitalized last week but that only affected one of my shows. I went on to conduct my Multan show recently. I have another show coming up on April 13 in Dubai.”
He expressed gratitude for the prayers and well-wishes he received during that time and dismissed the baseless rumors about his demise, wishing those responsible for spreading them a better path ahead.
