The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has intensified its measures to meet the tax collection targets for November.
As part of its strategy, the FBR has canceled the Saturday holiday, directing tax offices to remain operational on November 23 and November 30.
A formal notification has been issued, instructing large taxpayer units (LTUs), medium taxpayer units (MTUs), and regional tax offices (RTOs) to remain open on these dates. Corporate tax offices have also been mandated to continue operations to facilitate the collection of taxes and duties.
These steps are aimed at ensuring the timely achievement of the FBR’s monthly revenue goals, demonstrating the agency’s commitment to strengthening the country’s fiscal framework.
