Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Thursday, marking the third consecutive day of significant increases, driven by global market movements.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs3,700, reaching Rs278,000, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs3,172, now standing at Rs238,340.
On the international front, gold prices saw a substantial jump of $37, settling at $2,668 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20.
Silver prices in the local market also experienced a notable rise, increasing by Rs200 per tola, bringing the new price to Rs3,450.
