A recent video from a Pakistani talk show has caused a social media firestorm, with Sahil Adeem and Khalilur Rehman facing harsh criticism for their alleged inappropriate behavior towards a woman guest.
The controversy stems from a discussion about women’s rights. The woman reportedly challenged Adeem over a previous statement claiming 95% of women are ignorant. This sparked a heated debate, with Khalilur Rehman appearing visibly frustrated with the show’s host.
Instead of engaging with the woman’s concerns, Adeem reportedly deflected by introducing the term “Taghut” (considered a grave sin in Islam), seemingly derailing the conversation. The woman, however, remained focused on women’s rights, insisting the discussion stay on topic.
Further escalating tensions, Adeem offered a sarcastic apology, mockingly calling the woman “ignorant.” Khalilur Rehman then intervened aggressively, criticizing her interpretation of Arabic verses and demanding the host remove her microphone.
The video has gone viral, with social media users widely commending the woman for standing up for women’s rights. Conversely, Adeem and Rehman’s behavior has been heavily condemned.
