Karachi Rain Forecast – The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued its monsoon forecast for July, anticipating diverse rainfall distributions throughout Pakistan.
According to the report, central and northern Punjab, as well as southern Sindh, are likely to encounter higher than usual rainfall this month.
During July, certain districts in Sindh, such as Mirpurkhas, Karachi, Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Larkana, and Sukkur, are expected to receive rainfall ranging from 30 to 75 millimeters. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is specifically forecasted for these regions during the second and fourth weeks of the month.

The weather forecast for Karachi predicts notable rainfall throughout July: approximately 50 millimeters in the initial week, increasing to 75 millimeters in the second week, and between 25 to 35 millimeters in the third. Towards the month’s conclusion, the city might experience a substantial downpour ranging from 45 to 75 millimeters. Despite this, the NDMA has issued a warning about potential flooding hazards in Karachi due to these expected precipitation levels.
The authority also issued crucial safety advice for residents, urging them to take precautionary measures. This includes avoiding contact with electric poles and unstable infrastructure and refraining from driving or walking through waterlogged areas.
