Netflix has removed the option to download movies and shows for offline viewing from its Windows app. This change came with a recent update to the app, and some users have shared their frustration about it on social media.

The latest update stops you from downloading shows for offline viewing. Netflix now only allows offline watching on certain mobile devices, meaning laptops are no longer included.
The update for Netflix on Windows, which will stop users from watching content offline, is “coming soon.” Not everyone has received this change yet, so it seems Netflix is rolling it out gradually, possibly by region.
It is unclear when the update is going to reach us in Pakistan, but what’s clear is that the days of offline viewing are very limited.
