The Karachi Board has announced a revised schedule for intermediate examinations, with exams set to commence from June 1 and conclude on July 1. This adjustment affects approximately 290,000 students who are expected to participate in the exams.
According to the revised timetable, science group exams will take place in the morning from 9 am to 12 pm, while general group exams are scheduled for the afternoon from 2 pm to 5 pm. The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) Chairman clarified that the exams will not commence on May 28, as initially speculated. This decision was made due to logistical constraints, as conducting both matric and intermediate exams simultaneously at the same centers was deemed impractical.
BIEK Intermediate New Exam Schedule
Previously, board officials had requested a four-day extension for exams from the education minister. Originally, intermediate exams were slated for the morning, while matric exams were planned for the evening. However, due to the ongoing heatwave in Sindh, the dates for intermediate exams were altered by five days.
