KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a decline on Thursday, with the per tola price of 24-karat gold dropping by Rs900.
According to the Sarafa Association, the per tola price of gold settled at Rs241,000. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs771, closing at Rs206,619.
This downward trend was also observed in the international market, where the price of gold dipped by $8, settling at $2,308 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices also saw a decline, with the price dropping by Rs10 to settle at Rs2,650 per ounce and Rs8.58 per 10 grams, closing at Rs2,246.22.
On Tuesday, the per tola price of 24-karat gold had plunged by Rs2,000, closing at Rs241,900, while the price of 10 grams had decreased by Rs1,715, settling at Rs207,390.
