KARACHI – The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has imposed charges on every passenger of all domestic flights in Pakistan, it emerged on Saturday.
According to a notification issued by the authority, every passenger of the local flights will have to pay Rs100 in wake of airport fee across the country.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has instructed all airlines running domestic flights in the country to gather new fees from passengers and submit them to the authority.
Many individuals travel to various cities within the country using various flights, such as Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Air Blue, Air Sial, and Fly Jinnah. The introduction of these new charges will allow the aviation authority to generate substantial revenue.
How Much Every Passenger Will Pay to CAA?
Every passenger of the domestic flights will have to pay Rs100 on each travel in wake of airport charges.
Who Will Collect New Charges?
The charges will be collected by the airlines on behalf of the CAA.
