WEATHER UPDATE – Rain and snow of different strengths are forecasted for Murree, Galyat, and other tourist spots in Pakistan from Wednesday evening through Thursday, says the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
According to the synoptic situation, a shallow westerly wave prevails over Kashmir and adjoining areas.
In Murree, Galyat, and other tourist spots in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, there will be more rain, wind, thunderstorms, and snowfall on Wednesday evening/night and Thursday.
Rain/snowfall may affect transportation in Murree, Galyat, Naran, Kaghan, Dir, Swat, Kalam, Astore, Hunza, Skardu, Neelum Valley, Bagh and Havellian.
Murree’s minimum temperatures will likely remain between -04 to -02 degrees Celsius on Thursday and Friday.
During the past 24 hours, there were rain, wind, and thunderstorms with snowfall in Murree, Galyat, and tourist spots in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan.
