Weather update Karachi – Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly hot and humid weather for Karachi, Hyderabad and most parts of Sindh during the next couple of days.
The current weather situation suggests that there is a shallow westerly wave affecting the northernmost parts of the country. This weather pattern will result in hot and humid conditions for most areas of the province over the next couple of days, starting from Tuesday evening.
In Karachi, we can expect maximum temperatures to range from 34 to 36 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and 35 to 37 degrees Celsius on Thursday.
Similarly, in Hyderabad, the maximum temperature is forecasted to be between 36 to 38 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and 35 to 37 degrees Celsius on Thursday.
In the past 24 hours, hot and humid weather has persisted throughout Sindh, including cities like Karachi and Hyderabad.
The highest temperature in the province was recorded in Shaheed Benazirabad, reaching as high as 40 degrees Celsius. In Karachi, the maximum temperature reached 35 degrees Celsius. The morning relative humidity in both cities was recorded at 77 percent.
