KP weather update: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast wind, rain and thundershowers in different parts of the country till June 22.
According to a statement from the Meteorological Department, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) will experience hot and dry weather on June 16 and 17. However, rain and thundershowers are likely on Friday evening/night and Saturday morning in these regions. From June 18 to 22, intermittent rain, wind, and thundershowers are expected, particularly affecting parts of GB and AJK.
Southern regions of KP are likely to experience hot and dry weather with intermittent rain from June 16 to 18. However, the districts like Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Bajaur, Kohistan, Chitral and others are forecast to experience intermittent thunderstorms with gusty winds and thundershowers from June 18 to 22.
Rain, wind, thunderstorms, and dust storms are expected in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Murree, Galliyat, and various other districts in North and Central Punjab during this period. 4o
