The ID card, officially known as the Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC), is a crucial document issued by the Pakistani government. It’s a one-time issuance and is specific to each citizen. With a unique 13-digit number, the CNIC holds a person’s essential demographic and biometric details.
This card plays a pivotal role in providing government subsidies and benefits to the people, ensuring a transparent and efficient process.
NADRA, the authority responsible for this, has introduced the New Smart National Identity Card. It combines advanced technology with well-defined regulations to ensure its authenticity and validity.
Any Pakistani citizen aged 18 years and above is eligible for this important ID card.
