QUETTA – More than 28 people including women and children were killed and 20 others injured when a passenger bus fell into a deep ravine in District Washuk on Wednesday.
The injured have been shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.
Assistant Commissioner Basima Ismail Mengal reported that a passenger bus plunged into a deep ravine, resulting in injuries to 20 individuals, including women and children. Following the accident, the injured and deceased were transported to Civil Hospital Basima.
The Levies officials stated that the bus had 48 people on board, including the driver and two conductors.
After receiving medical assistance, they will be moved to Quetta for additional treatment. The bodies are being stored at Civil Hospital Basima for identification purposes.
According to AC Basima Ismail Mengal, the passenger bus traveling from Turbat to Quetta met with the accident due to high speed.
