KIA Motors Pakistan has decided to increase the prices of its vehicles starting from September 6, 2023. This decision comes in response to the ongoing economic challenges caused by the depreciation of the Pakistani Rupee against the US Dollar.
The main reason for this price adjustment is the significant decrease in the value of the Pakistani Rupee, which has led to higher production costs for KIA Motors Pakistan.
Here are the updated prices for KIA cars, effective from September 6, 2023:
The price of the KIA Picanto AT has been increased by Rs125,000, now priced at Rs3,950,000, up from the previous Rs3,825,000.
The KIA Stonic EX+ now costs Rs6,280,000, reflecting a Rs230,000 increase from its previous price of Rs6,050,000.
The KIA Sportage AWD is now priced at Rs8,920,000, following a Rs100,000 hike from its previous price of Rs8,820,000.
The KIA Sportage Black Limited Edition has seen its price increase by Rs350,000, now standing at Rs9,650,000, up from the earlier Rs9,300,000.
These adjustments in car prices by KIA Motors Pakistan are a response to the economic conditions and currency fluctuations affecting the automotive industry. The devaluation of the Pakistani Rupee has led to increased production costs, necessitating these price revisions.
