LAHORE – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts that Lahore and many regions across Pakistan will experience predominantly chilly and overcast conditions on Sunday night and the following day.
A significant low-pressure area in the west is currently situated over southeastern Sindh and the northeastern regions of the country.
Under these conditions, cold and cloudy weather is expected in Lahore and most parts of Pakistan on Sunday night and Monday.
However, rain-wind/thunderstorm is expected in southeastern Sindh.
Hazy conditions are expected to persist in Peshawar, Swabi, Sialkot, Lahore, Gujranwala, Narowal, Sargodha, Okara, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khanewal, Multan, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, and nearby areas.
Moderate/dense fog/smog is likely to disturb traffic flow on Motorway (Peshawar-Swabi, Pindi Bhattian-Lahore, Lahore-Abdul Hakim, Sialkot-Lahore, Pindi Bhattian-Faisalabad, Faisalabad-Multan and Multan-Sukkur) and parts of National Highway during morning hours.
