Xiaomi’s Redmi 13C budget phone launched in global markets earlier this month, but it’s yet to set foot in India. Interestingly enough, according to 91mobiles, the handset will differ slightly from the global version.
Insiders report that the Indian variant of the Redmi 13C will feature an upgraded MediaTek Helio G99 chipset instead of the older Helio G85. The new chip is built on a more recent manufacturing process and enhances the clock speed.
Apart from that, Xiaomi doesn’t plan to alter any other aspects for the Indian variant. The phone will still come with a 6.74-inch HD+ IPS LCD display having a 90Hz refresh rate and a rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP + 2MP combination. Additionally, it retains an 8MP front-facing camera. The battery capacity remains at 5,000 mAh, and it supports 18W charging.
Regrettably, the available information does not cover details about memory variations and color options. Fortunately, we’ll soon have the answers, as the unveiling is scheduled for next month.
