In Rawalpindi, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat declared that the party chairman, Imran Khan, has categorically dismissed Khawar Manika’s statement as false.
Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, where Imran Khan is currently imprisoned, Sher Afzal Marwat emphasized that Imran Khan labeled Khawar Manika’s statement as untrue.
Marwat went on to express concerns about the country’s trajectory, suggesting that instead of progressing towards democracy, Pakistan is heading towards degradation. He asserted that Tehreek-e-Insaf is facing undermining efforts and unwarranted interference in the leaders’ domestic affairs.
During the press briefing, Barrister Ali Zafar added that the former Prime Minister, Imran Khan, is content with the lawyers’ performance and has instructed the party to initiate rallies and corner meetings promptly.
Ali Zafar further announced that PTI’s inaugural gathering is scheduled to take place in Peshawar on December 1, with the party planning to release a comprehensive schedule of public gatherings nationwide. In the event of any obstructions, they will seek consultation with the Supreme Court.
