Sean Combs, the well-known hip-hop icon and founder of Bad Boy Records, is facing serious allegations of rape, abuse, and sex trafficking from singer and model Cassie Ventura. According to a report by the New York Times on Thursday, the 37-year-old Ventura claims that Combs assaulted her multiple times, including incidents of brutal beatings and rape, exerting control over every aspect of her life during their relationship.
Ventura alleges that she endured a cycle of abuse, violence, and sex trafficking throughout their time together. In response, a representative for Combs, also known as Puff Daddy, P Diddy, Diddy, and Love, has vehemently denied the claims, calling them “offensive and outrageous.” The representative stated that the allegations surfaced after Ventura demanded $30 million from Combs.
Despite the controversy, Combs, a three-time Grammy winner and major hip-hop mogul, has been a prominent figure in the music industry since founding Bad Boy Records in 1993. He has collaborated closely with artists such as the Notorious BIG, Mary J Blige, and Lil’ Kim.
Cassie Ventura, the accuser, is a singer, actress, and model widely recognized for her debut single, “Me & U,” which peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2006. While she hasn’t released another album since 2006, Ventura has continued to release singles and collaborate with various artists. She has also ventured into modeling, signing with agencies like Wilhelmina Models and One Management, and has appeared in films such as “Step Up 2: The Streets” (2008) and “The Perfect Match” (2016).
As of now, Ventura is married to Alex Fine, a 25-year-old personal trainer, and they have two children together. The couple got married after Ventura’s separation from Combs in October 2018, following an 11-year relationship.
In the major lawsuit filed against Combs in Manhattan federal court, Ventura alleges that she was trapped in a violent relationship with him for a decade. The lawsuit claims that Combs gained control over her personal and professional life, subjecting her to beatings, forced sexual encounters, and constant threats of violence. Ventura’s lawyer stated that she was offered a substantial sum to remain silent, an offer she declined.

Combs has vehemently denied all the allegations, describing them as baseless and outrageous lies. The representative contends that Ventura’s motive is financial gain, asserting that she initially threatened to write a damaging book about their relationship unless she received $30 million.
As the legal proceedings unfold, Combs stands firm in rejecting the claims made against him by Ventura.
