During Donald Trump’s fraud trial in Manhattan, another figure drew attention – Alina Habba, a 39-year-old attorney and key member of his legal team.
She sat beside the former president with a gaming laptop displaying a changing logo. Habba vigorously defended the valuation of Trump’s real estate, likening them to “Mona Lisa properties” to justify their appraisal.
Habba has a longstanding association with Trump, even celebrating her birthday with him. Before Michael Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer, testified, she requested a different microphone due to Covid concerns. This led to a brief dispute.
A Catholic Arab, Habba holds a degree in political science and is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Her legal expertise spans corporate litigation, real estate, family law, and more.
Her connection with Trump dates back to 2019 when she joined his Bedminster golf club. She officially joined his legal team in September 2021. Habba is not only Trump’s lawyer but also an ardent supporter of his presidential ambitions, frequently seen at Mar-a-Lago and his Bedminster golf club.
She identifies herself on Instagram as the “General Counsel and Legal Spokesperson for Save America,” expressing her patriotism and gratitude for her family. Additionally, she shares a friendly relationship with Rudy Giuliani, as seen in a photo together earlier this year.
