Toyota Indus has just revealed a significant reduction in the prices of its models, including the Toyota Yaris. This drop comes after the local currency gained strength against the US dollar in recent years.
Toyota Central Motors has released an updated Price List that will take effect from October 24, 2023, covering all Completely Knocked Down vehicles. The price cuts vary, ranging from Rs0.1 to Rs1.3 million.
The automotive giant has decided to pass on the positive impact of the rupee’s recent appreciation against the dollar to its customers. This move follows similar announcements from KIA and MG Motors, who have also introduced substantial price reductions for their vehicles.
Toyota Yaris Latest Price in Pakistan
With the new announcement, the cheapest model of Yaris stands at Rs4.39 million, whereas the top variant 1.5 CVT Aero saw drop of Rs120,000, and new price stands at Rs5.849 million.

The price drop comes as the rupee makes comeback against the US Dollar, as the country’s auto sector is linked with imports.
Earlier in 2023, Toyota prices and other nations witnessed a significant increase, several months after PKR depreciation against the dollar.
