Hamas has launched around 5,000 rockets towards Israel, resulting in the tragic loss of four Israeli lives and leaving three others injured.
Reportedly, this aggressive response from Gaza Strip stems from the repeated provocations at Al-Aqsa Mosque, causing heightened tensions.
In an unusual public statement, Mohammad Daef announced a new military operation against Israel, named ‘Toufan al-Aqsa’.
As per reports, the armed group’s attacks have claimed four Israeli lives and left three wounded. Additionally, more than 5,000 rockets have been fired from the Gaza Strip.
Israel experienced air raid sirens in the aftermath of the attack. The assault is seen as retaliation for Israel’s actions against worshippers, including women, at Al-Aqsa.
It’s worth noting that an Israeli strike on the Gaza Strip led to the tragic death of a woman, alongside substantial damage to buildings and vehicles.
In response, a statement from Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s office indicated that he will soon convene with security chiefs regarding the situation. The statement also mentioned that Israel has identified targets in Gaza, and the Ministry of Defense has approved the mobilization of reserve forces.
