A tragic incident unfolded as the lifeless body of 51-year-old Alison Dodds was found in her Blackpool residence last Thursday.
The discovery led to the arrest of a man, who has now been charged with her murder. Alison’s grieving family expressed their sorrow, emphasizing that her passing was a devastating and unexpected event.
They stated, “We are shook up and upset that Alison has died in this way, it is not the way she should have gone and we all love and miss her.”
Responding to reports, the police rushed to a residence on Redcar Road in Blackpool on the morning of September 21. A post mortem conducted by the Home Office revealed that Alison had sustained “multiple serious injuries.” The accused has been placed in custody and is set to appear in Blackpool Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
