Punjab Police has introduced a new initiative to streamline the process of obtaining a driving license, aiming to enhance accessibility and convenience for citizens.
Through social media platform X, previously known as Twitter, the police department has provided detailed guidelines for acquiring an e-license. This digital platform is set to benefit approximately three million license holders throughout the province of Punjab.
Even for those who have lost their physical driving licenses, this initiative comes as a boon. Additionally, citizens now have the option to maintain a digital copy of their license on their mobile phones.
This step reflects Punjab Police’s dedication to utilizing technology for improving public services. It provides citizens with a seamless and efficient means of obtaining or replacing their driving licenses. People needs to simply visit the website; http://dlims.punjab.gov.pk.
After selecting the e-license option, you need to add your CNIC number and date of birth. Later, click the download button and you will get the PDF copy of the license.
