ICC 2023 World Cup Trophy – Cricket fans will have the chance to get up close and personal with the famous ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 Trophy during a three-day tour that kicked off today in Lahore.
The ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 Trophy has been traveling around India since June 27th, as India is hosting the tournament. It has visited several countries including Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, the United States, the West Indies, Bangladesh, Kuwait, Bahrain, Europe, and Asia.
This prestigious cricket trophy, the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 Trophy, arrived in Lahore on September 4th and will leave on September 6th. During this short but meaningful visit, the trophy will be showcased at museums, cricket academies, and universities, giving cricket fans from all backgrounds a chance to see it up close.
On September 6th at 10 am, the trophy will be displayed outside the National Cricket Academy for 40 minutes, allowing the media to capture this historic moment.
From October 5th to the 19th of the same year, India will host the ICC Men’s World Cup 2023. Pakistan, currently ranked first in the 50-over format, won the championship in 1992 by defeating England by 22 runs at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia. In the 2019 ICC Men’s World Cup, hosted in England, Pakistan narrowly missed the semi-finals, finishing in the fifth spot with 11 points after playing nine games.
