The “Father of Gold” Haji Haroon Rasheed Chand, who was responsible for announcing gold prices across the country, has passed away. His funeral prayer will be offered on Saturday after Zuhr prayers.

Haji Haroon Rasheed Chand, Chairman of the Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association and known as the “Father of Gold” for his role in issuing gold rates nationwide, passed away recently.
According to his family, Haji Haroon Rasheed Chand had been seriously ill for several days and was undergoing treatment at a hospital. His death was caused by a heart attack.
His family has stated that his funeral prayer will be held on Saturday after Zuhr prayers. Haji Haroon Rasheed Chand was 80 years old.
