KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan fell for the second consecutive day on Friday, mirroring the global market decline.
According to the Sarafa Association, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs800, settling at Rs282,300, while the rate for 10 grams decreased by Rs682, bringing it down to Rs242,031.
In the international market, the price of the precious commodity fell by $8, with an per ounce trading at $2,726.
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan stayed steady, with per tola trading at Rs3,350 and 10 grams selling for Rs2,872.08.
The previous day, the per tola gold price dropped by Rs2,300, settling at Rs283,100, while the 10-gram rate fell by Rs1,971, reaching Rs242,713.
