Tennis star Sania Mirza has been the centre of attention ever since her divorce from Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik.
Recently, a digitally altered image of Sania Mirza and Indian cricketer Mohammad Shami dressed in wedding attire has been circulating on social media, adding to the speculation about their marriage.
However, Sania’s father Imran Mirza, has refuted the claims.
Imran, talking to an Indian media outlet, said: “This is all rubbish. She has not even met him.”
Rumors started circulating a few days ago when Sania shared her thoughts on a second marriage, and Shami did the same. This sparked speculation among fans about a possible relationship between the two sports stars.

Shoaib and Sania, who got married in April 2010 and have a son named Izhaan Mirza-Malik, had been the subject of separation rumors for some time. These speculations intensified when Shoaib revealed his second marriage to Pakistani actress Sana Javed.
Later, it was confirmed that in January, Sania had sought separation from Shoaib.
On the other hand, Shami has been separated from his wife, Hasin Jahan, with whom he got married in 2014. They have a child together.
Earlier this month, Sania announced her departure for Hajj and has not commented on the matter since.
