In Dallas, Babar Azam told the media that they have a definite strategy for playing cricket. Their goal is to do well in the World Cup and achieve success.

The team captain said not having warm-up matches doesn’t affect them because they’re already playing. They’re using the facilities for practice, with batters training indoors and bowlers training outdoors.
He said, “This is the first time cricket is being played in America, so do not think that everything is not available or lacking. We are not concerned about the distance from the hotel or facilities; it is the responsibility of the board.”
Analyzing the matches played in the T20 World Cup so far, Babar Azam mentioned that high-scoring matches are not evident here. Some of their players played here before, so they had an idea of the conditions.
“Shadab, Imad, and Haris have previously played here,” said Babar.
He believes in all his players as captain, especially trusting Shadab the most because he performs well in different situations. Shadab Khan is good at batting, bowling, and fielding, and Babar expects him to do well in the current conditions.
Babar Azam mentioned that the US team has the advantage of playing on home ground. He expressed confidence in his team’s ability to perform well, especially their fast bowlers who he believes are among the best in the world.
“Our World Cup journey begins tomorrow. Now all senior players have to step up and take responsibility. We will try not to repeat the mistakes made in the past,” he added.
