The Redmi 13 4G has just launched as the latest addition to Xiaomi’s entry-level lineup, succeeding last year’s Redmi 12. Noteworthy upgrades include a revamped main camera and a more powerful chipset, making it an appealing choice for budget-conscious consumers.
The screen comes up with 6.78-inch IPS LCD with 1080p resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, the same as its predecessor.
Although the screen resolution is lower, the Helio G91 Ultra chipset is definitely better than the older Helio G88. The memory options are still the same, up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The phone comes with Android 14 and has HyperOS on top.
The 50MP main camera has been replaced with a 108MP primary shooter, accompanied by only a single auxiliary lens. The selfie camera is a 13MP sensor nested inside a punch-hole cutout.
The last improvement is the phone’s fast charging, which has increased to 33W from 18W. It also has a slightly larger battery at 5,030 mAh, up from 5,000 mAh. The Redmi 13 4G starts at €199.99 in Europe.
