Despite assurances from the Sindh government to prevent exam malpractices, the integrity of matriculation exams has been compromised. Reports of leaked exam papers have emerged from various cities across Sindh, raising doubts about the credibility of the examination process.
In Larkana, students reportedly had access to the Sindhi language paper before the exam, casting doubt on the anti-cheating measures of the Larkana Education Board.
Similarly, in Kandiaro, the Urdu language paper administered by the Shaheed Benazirabad Board was circulated on WhatsApp prior to the exam.
Khairpur faced a more severe breach, with the English language paper being leaked and allegations of invigilators aiding students in solving the paper.
Both boys and girls were reported to have benefited from the leaked papers, utilizing WhatsApp for assistance.
These incidents have sparked concerns about the efficacy of the measures implemented by the Sindh government to prevent cheating and paper leakage during exams. The education sector awaits a strong response to restore confidence in the examination system.
