LAHORE – More rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected in Lahore and parts of Punjab on Tuesday evening/night.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), there’s a line of weather disturbance called a trough or westerly wave over the northern regions of Pakistan. This weather pattern is expected to continue for the next 12 to 18 hours.
Under these conditions, more rain-wind/thunderstorms are predicted in Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Khushab, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Mianwali, Bhakkar and Noorpur Thal on Tuesday evening/night. Gusty winds/windstorms are expected in Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur.
Wednesday and Thursday will bring dry weather and strong winds to many areas of the province. Southern districts may experience particularly strong gusts of wind or windstorms.
Lahore’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 33-35 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and Thursday.
