Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trajectory, marking the fifth consecutive increase on Saturday, in line with global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs2,200 per tola, reaching Rs282,700, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,857, bringing it to Rs242,370.
On the international front, gold prices also saw a significant rise, with an increase of $22 per ounce, reaching $2,715, alongside an additional premium of $20.
Silver prices in the local market also experienced a notable rise, increasing by Rs200 per tola, now standing at Rs3,450.
