KARACHI: The gold rate in Pakistan rose by Rs700, reaching Rs283,700 per tola in the local market on Monday (Nov 4).
According to local Sarafa Associations, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold, however, decreased by Rs600, bringing it down to Rs243,227.
Meanwhile, the international gold price also saw an increase on Monday. According to APGJSA, the rate stood at $2,735 per ounce (with a $20 premium) and had risen by $7 during the day.

Meanwhile, the price of silver remained steady at Rs3,430 per tola.
